Short of enrolling in one of Carlos’ classes at the University, this is the way to go. He’s very flexible in his style of teaching and builds on each concept learned. He mixes writing, speaking and listening so that the student becomes aware of how Italian “really” sounds. The student also has opportunities to see Italian films as well as casual conversation time.
I DO recommend him to anyone wanting to learn Italian. If you’re planning a trip to Italy, give yourself a few months to learn. After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
